--- Lisbeth Brittain Carter, Voice Professor

Tim served on the advisory board and as a faculty member for the International Young Artists Program (IYAP) from 2015-2023. Tim taught master classes, co-directed the opera productions, and was a featured performer.

“His service to [IYAP] has been invaluable, having taught voice lessons, directed choirs, directed opera scenes, and sung beautifully himself in some of our productions. I couldn’t have asked more of anyone.”

- Ellen Williams, Co-founder of the International Young Artists Project Inc.

Tim has served in multiple positions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), including North Carolina District Vice-President, President, and Mid-Atlantic Regional Governor.  His students have won multiple NATS competitions at the state, regional and national levels.
